    Yes and no. If you're using Eyefinity (which uses the GPU to present up to three monitors to the OS as a single monitor) then no. If you have Eyefinity turned off (I believe the default), then yes, it will function just like any other dual-head GPU.

    WOW!! what a deal I got today!

    A guy I know bought the Radeon 6950 and then returned it because he wanted a GTX570 instead. His restocking fee means I got a great deal on it.





    I'm using a junk board (except I'll have a full ATX) and my 3870 X2 to get a feel for the room I'll have in the case. The 3870 X2 is the same length as the 6950. This is how it'll have to sit in the case in order for me to close the lid.

    Great stuff ! I just love Commodore! I was the last on the block to give up on Commodere Amiga 4000. Dont be upset if I "borrow' your idea for myself Good luck man !

    Here's an example of a PCI-e extender. You'll probably want to look for one that is longer than 7cm but google/ebay shouldn't have any trouble with that.
