    Default what are you reading?

mods, I searched the site to see if there was another thread like this. if there is, feel free to merge this with it.

Anyways, I just got done reading all the books I checked out at the library and would like some suggestions from you all for what to read next. And I also was curious what you are currently reading!

    I just finished:
The Lost Symbol - Dan Brown
Dearly Devoted Dexter - Jeff Lindsay (part of the book series that the showtime show Dexter is based off of if you didnt know )
and read some of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass stories.

(of course school starts up next week and I probably wont have much more time for reading for enjoyment, gotta study a lot better this semester )

    just re-read Watership Down.

Now reading a book about John Harrison, the guy who invented mechanical clocks in the mid 1700's that could keep accurate time at sea and thus allow the calculation of longitudinal position.

Also I intend to start reading Terry Goodkind (Sword of Truth series), re-read Tolkein's books at some point, and I will be all over the next Patrick Rothfuss book (The Wise Man's Fear, sequel to Name of the Wind) as soon as it's published.

Going to be re-reading a couple Peter Mayle books (Year in Provence & Toujours Provence, both hilarious), as well as re-reading I Know This Much is True by Wally Lamb, and reading the next couple Janet Evanovich books.
Also re-reading War and Peace off and on. no joke

Fablehaven by Brandon Mull (kids book, but good for light reading. sort of reminds me of Harry Potter or something.)

Sword of Truth by Terry Goodkind (lots of books in the series and very adult/mature. Probably some of the best books I've ever read, although it gets a bit dull after book three.)

Artemis Fowl (Again, kids book, but fun and just good for light reading. Interesting roles in the book. The main character is a bit villainous.)

I'm about to start reading a series called Septimus Heap. I believe they're for the younger crowds or at least can be, but I've been into those a lot lately. They're just fun and light to read. Not so serious like say Sword of Truth.

I sort of have a thing for Fantasy novels if you haven't noticed. lol
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.
