    Default Component TV Card

Anybody know of a TV Tuner card w/ Component video input that is able to record in 720HD or 1080HD?

That's a pretty tall order, I've been waiting for such a card--afaik the only cards out there record HD OTA like the ATI HD Wonder--but I could be wrong.

No, ATI's HD card can only record HD off of an antenna...
Anybody know of one at all?

OTA means Off The Air, like I said. currently there are no consumer level component-in capture cards.

Yeah I've been waiting 2 years for such a card. I can imagine the ammount of data that a card would have to process in order to capture HD--it would have to be a pricey card when it comes out.

    Modders challenge. XD

But seriously, it would take a dual core processor and at least 512 MB GDDR4

It would probably require a heftier bus that PCI.
    Maybe a PCI-E 16 TV input card?

It could also be that TV tuner manufacturers are waiting for HD to stabilize & become the norm fully before implementing a product line that could be costly with little payback.
