Have you tried using the Vista driver. In many cases it has worked for me.
I tried the vista 32 driver and it didn't work. I think there is an actual physical problem with the printer.

probably. printers nowadays are just throaway junk. at least that's what I've seen with the ones I've had. Had a nice epson one for a little more than a year and something broke and made the print head go all crazy. of course this was 3 weeks after the warranty expired, and epson wouldnt help me out at all. I could have sent it in to get fixed, but it would have cost more than the printer did!

I couldn't find the driver either. I even checked with a few driver folks I know. Nothing.
Printers nowadays are like video game consoles. They lose money on the printer, but more than make up for it in ink sales. Hell it is still cheaper to buy a new printer with all the ink included than it is to just buy the ink...

Yea this printer was fairly old looking for a dell so I think it just needs to be trashed and a current model purchased.
