Alright so this happened a few times the other day while playing multiplayer. I'm in the middle of a match, and suddenly the sound seems to freeze. It just plays the same 2 seconds over and over. Video works fine, and when any teammates or opponents do voice chat I can hear them fine. When I try to exit, it freezes. ctrl alt del and close it. When I try to reopen, it says:

Steam.exe (main exception): The registry is in use by another process, timeout expired
I have to reboot the computer to get back into it. I checked Steam's site on the error, says it could be caused by background programs or a virus/malware. I haven't added any new programs before it started so I doubt that's it. I also ran a full scan from Threatfire and Microsoft Security Essentials and both came up with nothing.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Steam, and re-downloaded my game, and it worked fine for a few days - up until tonight. I was in the middle of a match and the sound started cutting in and out randomly then started its "skipping" again. Again, I could hear team chat fine. Had to ctrl alt del again, and getting the same error when I try to relaunch. Anyone have any ideas?
