Thinking about getting it, is it worth the money or no? (PS2 version)

Even for the short amount of time I played it at Worst Buy, I was exceedingly underwhelmed. TBH, trash game. And annoying.

I loved it. My buddy has it. There is a lot of mixes in the game that I didn't think i would like but ended up liking. All the mixes are original for the game i think to. The musics also somewhat varried between, rap/hiphop and more electronic stuff like daft punk and even some rock/pop in there.

It's a pretty straight forward rythm game ala, guitar hero or rockband. I like that they cut all the BS out of the game. Your presented with a series of setlists to play through and as you progress through the game you can unlock new characters, character accessories, and venues.

Look round at your local big box electronics stores and see if anyone has a display up you can mess with. I read a couple reviews and most of the reviews state that they find when introducing it to their friends it tends to be a love it or hate it kinda game.

Yeah apparently it is a bit rubbish. But for some people that like Guitar Hero and that sort of music they may like it.
