yeah more exstensive. the car is going into a shop for a week. when it comes out the front and rear bumpers will be changed, side skirts added, new headlights, tail lights, exhaust, suspension, rims, tint, and stereo system will be installed. possibly a carbon fiber hood and trunk lid (if money allows). the it starts the paint.

Just realised, checking this thread that my car sat in primer for almost a month - I only thought it'd been a couple of weeks, tops.... Ah well - there's been some progress at last...

    Primer wet-sanded smooth

    Door Trims

    Work in Progress

    Passenger Side

    Rear Tailgate

    Drivers Side

    Front

Next comes the roof, rear bumper, front grille, then the whole car needs to be wet-sanded smooth and given a final polish - not too far from done now - hopefully more progress this week....

lol - ty - connections are good - in folding pieces of paper, it hasn't cost me a penny either - but it DID cost me a second hand dell, 3 call-outs to a friends house and a website :p

Speaking of connections - just been told I can get free powdercoating any time I want it too....

    Default I give up

Well I'd like to take a moment to thank the little (or big) scumbag who fell on my car last night, did about £250 ($400 us) worth of damage and then wandered off without owning up to it - great Christmas present!

    Scratch on bonnet/hood & wing/fender

And while I'm having a little moan, a second thankyou goes to the moron who clipped the car in the car park last week, did ANOTHER £150 ($220ish) worth and, surprise surprise, again, didn't have the balls to take responsibility....

Scratch on rear door & rear wheel arch/quarter panel

    Dude, unlucky!
You could have your inssurance take care of it, but it might risk it going up.

Does the car park have any video cameras?

I don't know which car park it was, unfortunately - it's just perfect height for a shopping cart/trolley and I noticed it the morning after I'd been on a christmas shopping marathon.

As for the insurance - they consider it (rightly enough) two seperate incidents, therefore two claims, two excesses (first £200 of any claim) to pay, I'd end up paying 90% of it anyway, and then my insurance would go up next year by about 30%
