Waterblock for 8600GT?

i got a email from swiftech saying the mcw60's will fit the 8600GT. here is the email.

I believe it will. It looks like Evga is using the reference 4 holes.
Mind you we haven't tried it, and I am just looking at a pic. Best bet
if you want 100% positive answer is to get the card, measure the
distance between the holes, and send us another email.

i never sent back an email, i don't feel like measuring the card but i can fit the Arctic cooling Accelero S2 on my card which supports various other cards. if you look at your cards there should be 2 sets of mounting holes. i had to use the smaller ones. according to the manual on the accelero i used the #3 set of holes. which also works with 7600, 6600, x1650, x1600, x1300 cards. going back to this page from swiftech the 7600GT's will work with it. but then the 6600's wont. i say it will fit with no problems, at least the eVGA one.
