Printer will not install?! wtf....

I've never had a problem like this and honestly have no idea wth could have caused it...

When I try to install the software (was already installed but when i tried to print the printer wasn't there) it says:

When I choose yes, it does nothing... I went into Services and it was on "AUTO"



When I unplug it and plug it back in so it auto installs, it installs then:

WTF?!?


EDIT:: Fixed... lexbce server wasn't checked selected in services.

the RCP server basically comes out to "remote call procedure" basically it sounds as if the info isnt getting sent from the computer. could be that the info on the driver disk is faulty, or the OS is in need of new updates. id look towards the CDROM first..have you gone online and downloaded the latest drivers from the manufacturers website? most of the time when companies mass produce driver disks, they have small glitches that dont show up until the home user tries to install the program.

hey greco try this. go to start, run and type in services.msc. go down the list and make sure the RPC service is running. if not turni it ona dn then activate the spooler service. that should get it running.
