love the frayed wires, might want to consider small rounded bent aluminum rods sticking out the side to represent old broken rebar.

Ohhhh, thats what I pictured when I saw the wire coming out of the concrete. What are the wires then? Just wires? or is it the rebar from reinforced concrete? Now you made me confused. Looks great either way though!
