    Default Project Cirque Du Soleil

This mod was actually finished and photographed a few months ago, but I never got around to adding it to the project galleries. This worklog can be found here:

    Enjoy.

    In my room

Can you guess what this is? =] it's the top of the drive cage. With the cold cathodes on the bottom, that entire piece of acrylic glows. The light on the bottom is it's reflection on the case wall:

one question? those lights? are they all on switches? or are they one constantly? cause they are cool, but wouldnt they get really annoying while tryin to watch a movie and stuff? other than that, love the paint job. very nice looking setup. good job. thumbs up.

Thanks mate. They're all on switches, except for the PSU's red fans, obviously. Everything else can be turned off, making the computer nearly black.

Very nice setup. Seems like it would be fun to work & play there. Colors are nice too. Is that Audrey Hepburn dancing on the side? But ... one thing it seems most forget is outside the box Tie wraps and sleeves work nice for all those wires hanging down as well. And one thing I do for gadgets on shelves, is run the wires (taped) to the back of the shelves so you don't see them.
I really like the setup though. Maybe I'll add some lights to my room

    Thanks!

I am very anal about cables, so I had to sleeve and cable tie all of those wires.

I also like the set up a lot, its oddly relaxing for me, and it impresses all my friends...

Nice case-not my style, but you've done a good professional job, especially with the monitor mod.

The keyboard paintjob is ace, probably the best paintjob i've ever seen on a keyboard.

But i don't like the silver CD drive bezel-it just looks too out of place to me.

    Good work though bud.

    Thanks!

The drive bezel has been repainted, it looked like crap. I was hoping to match it's color to the color of the vinyl graphics. Also, I hate that blue LCD screen, so the LEDs will be replaced.

Sadly, I don't. My camera has explodinated, and when we went to go buy a new one, we ran into the same idiots that MDCS tried to buy from.... anyways, bad news, won't have a camera for at least a few weeks.
