The contest SHOULD go on.. but there needs to be a base... a set standard on entry, rules, dates, and scores.......

5 days later in this thread and there is none of this.....

Since i was going to throw in some stickers for the winner I met as well take over this contest, if in fact maximan is banned..

this sounds like a job for.... me? what do you mean me? oh alright.

i can set up a finalized points system, entry rules.... things like that. i cant set up a website or anything for it, but ill put it in here when im done. it may take a while (as in it will be done tomorrow if things get screwed up).

Also what do u mean internals wont count? Water cooling and wiring is a big part of my mod and I think it should be counted.
if you want it counted, then it shall be. we will only remove certain categories for people who dont have the watercooling or wiring (this is basically that whole argument about not having anything to fill a case). like i said before... cooling and functionality will probably be the optional ones. ill see if i can split up functionality into two sub groups though because "i do, however, consider functionality to be more than just "does hardware work in it?"

Though I might post my entry next week
please do. its no fun to win by default.

    Beginner: 0-2 previous mods.
    Intermidiate: 3-5 previous mods.
    Advanced: 5+ previous mods.
thats a good idea. if you want to be in a certain category, just say which one when you enter. we should probably have only one for this time though, seeming as we may only have two or three entries.

I don't participate in contests like this because I hold them.
satan has a point here. even though he didnt really need to post just to tell us he wont enter, it brings up an issue. we shouldnt have entries from judges or the contest holder/s. so for the next one, if i submit something... im not a judge for that contest.

so.... if maximan did get banned... and you're second in command butcher... i suppose im answering to you now. if you need anything, just say so.

<EDIT> ah, you dont really want to be in charge? well i hesitantly accept responsibility if this is true. if im already volunteering to judge and get rules and stuff in place, its not too much extra to take full charge.

Slug Toy , if you want to do the contest it is all yours...... Start from scratch ... anyone that has already posted... your entry is void until otherwise..

Once slug has set everything up... he will tell you what he wants done...

I will provide the two TBCS scenario decals to winner,, and possibly some more stuff...

right then, i suppose there will be a couple changes if im in charge now. i dont know all of them yet, but ill have it worked out by the weekend.

first order of business is to get the rules and scoring scheme done. second order of business is to set a date for submission (it can stay as august 15, or it can change, depends on what everyoen wants). third order of business is to get people interested. and fourth order of business is submission.

that is what ill work on over the next two days.

oh, by the way... what do you think of my new sig?

Sounds good slug toy - I think you sig is WAY over the limit and you'll probably be told to get rid of it soon. Read the forum rules.
