Hi, i know this post shouldn't be here... but if any of you has any kjnowledge of really optimized scripts/configurations for counter strike, like the ones pro users use(d)... well, let's say i want to show someone i can fight and he has such optimizations.. secret ones... so pls help

As for secret configurations, I'm not aware of any secret ones. But you can tweek your config through the console whilst in gameplal. And while these work in counter strike 'condition zero', I dont know if they'll work on the original.

Anywho, some good console commands include.

Net_graph 3 : (I think thats the command.) It should bring up a panel in the lower right hand corner of the screen showing your fps, input, output, and ms.

Rate :This command shows your rate. As the command kinda self explains. You can adjust the rate by typing 'Rate #' Where as # being the adjusted ammount. Personally, I typed in Rate 20000, and the server max I play on is 21000. (some people think that by typing in a number ending in '9's instead of '0's fools the computer into thinking the rate is higher than what it actually is. But I never found any difference.

fps and fps max :These commands show your frames per seconed. The net graph should already show you what it is at all times, but the max command lets you adjust the maximum fps you can get, providing smoother gameplay. However, this max may also be limited by your video card.

Developer_1 :considered a hack by cal servers, this command is supposed to improve your gameplay performance. However, I noticed no difference. This command needs to be re-inputed after every game.

I think what he is looking for are the in-game macros, such as the purchasing macros. A friend of mine used to run them, where you can set it up to press one button to purchase different profiles (awp+ammo+kevlar and helmet+flashbang, etc). I'll ask him tonight what they were and where to find them.

Scripts don't really improve your gameplay, but they can definitely make buying a lot quicker.
Check out CS-Nation's tutorials and Counter-Script for some more indepth stuff. Hope that helps.

10ks wingman, but i'm a lil' further on the road.. i'm not looking for things to change.. i'm looking 4 better values 4 those variables.. something to make cs more responsive to what i want.. also, there are many more commands/variables that do not appear in the config.cfg file... i did search in google and found lots of them, but no optimal values.. only defaults.. and these are not always the best..

Well I guess I'm no pro then. Why don't you experiment to find out what the optimals are? You can better tailor them to your likings.

...sorry w... i didn't mean it like that.. i am experimenting dayly(practising), but i do know there are several optimal values, not the default ones.. for instance with the mouse pitch... it works not only for me, but for everybody i've seen trying them...
