$3,100 for a gig of RAM. $1,600 for 18GBs of HDD space. Gotta love it!

    "Tin of kippers". Brilliant!

I've got a few Dream Machine processors to give away, by the way. *grin* For that matter, I've got a few K6-2/333s too...

Oh, and up until a couple years ago, the budget machine's CD-ROM drive was the same one I ran in my computer. And those ALPS floppy drives are indestructible.

    I love the Budget's OS: Linux $0.

And I still use the Logitech MouseMan+.

Hitachi 19 inch monitor $600, with a resolution of what? 1024x768 that won't display correctly for another two years? lol. I just ordered a widescreen 1440x900 19" for $99, and that will probably drop off another $10-20 in the next 6 months.
I would really like my Thermaltake prizes... Thanks everyone for my wonderful prizes!

Is it sad that the price of the RAM is equal to the cost of my computer x5?

My current rig cost me $0, including the OS. The only thing I spent money on was WoW.

I have a Dell P120C sitting in my closet (came with a Pentium 120MHz). I was using that keyboard until it died, and I have the Altech Lansing speakers sitting in a drawer right next to me.
