yea, and the gfx is SUPER OVERCLOCKED, and i looked it up, which is why i chose that card, it offers the peformance of the Nvidia 285 for the price of a modest 260, and beats every other 260 and 275 on the market,

Also the Q8400 is supposed to be a beast of an overclocker, so i am getting the freezer 7 pro so i can overclock it a bit, i plan on trying to get 3GHz atleast, maybe 3.2 if i can, Was looking at the Core i5/7's but the 7 series is miles out of my budget and the 5's have an overclock limiter on them, and also there a bit more expencive,

Looks good. That's actually about my main systems specs too Only main difference is I have a Q9450 instead (Penryn instead of Yorkfield, two more cores, and I think twice the cache). IDK how well Yorkfields handle overclocking, but I've seen people online who have gotten the 9450 up to 4.0 stable...on air.

Nice new toys mate, very nice. Personally I would invest in a slightly better CPU cooler though.

I was going to invest in a better one at a later date, the cooler was on offer if i buy the CPU, can get it for £5

Whoops, sorry, I misread that; thought I saw E8400.

There are a few 6-core CPUs out though; and actually been out for a while. Only thing is that they're server chips:

There's the Opteron Istanbul core, and I swear there's a 6-core Xeon that come out about a year ago, but it's apparently not for sale on NewEgg anymore (probably nobody bought it..iirc it was ~$1500).

Yeah I should have said "commercial" 6 cores lol. The i9 will hardly be cheap though, hardly makes it commercial haha, will easily be more expensive then the i7 on release.

I think you mean consumer; commercial just means it's possible to buy them (granted they're ungodly expensive, but still, it's possible).

    UPDATE:

Yay, been a while, very slow considering how fast this thing started off,

Time to rip the guts out, the patient is on the operating table:

    Removed the guts:

    Nice new fan hole:

Now this case can't quite fit a GTX260 as its slightly too long, but with a slight modification it can now fit a GTX295 (Used brothers for measuring)

    Not bad primer:

And i found an old PCI extractor fan so that has to be painted to match, stripped, painted and reassembled:

Now its the turn of the USB hub

Painted the back of the case, hasn't turned out too bad:

And im really pleased with the top of the case, came out better than expected:

^see it in real life, it looks like a pro's done it!

Usb hub in its current state (Thats wet paint by the way)

I haven't finished yet, need to sand and give a good cover to get rid of the old lables.

And on a side note, while i was out i saw the mystery machine complete with scooby in the window!
