now im on a roll, or rollerball rather!! [/stupid humor]
anyway, as you can see, over the last few days i painted my keyboard, red and yellow with pearl, It looks really nice, the problem being my mouse dosn't match now, being a boring grey. As i had some paint spair, i striped the mouse, XxX rated stuff this: ![]() after wich i put the buttons and screws in a plastic bag, i am currently using the mouse with no cover, clicking the buttons with finger nails. i started by sanding with 120 grit sand paper, then worked upto 320G until all the paint was removed and i had a smooth surface to start on, I added about 2 layers of this wonderful primer. ![]() After 60min of drying i added two layers of red ![]() I then added two layers of yellow, finished it just as i ran out, then i droped it (SH&^%&^$^$%&^£$^&$%^$^$^T comes to mind) So now i am leaving it over night, picking up some paint tomorrow on my way to work. then on friday i shall finish it hopfully, im hoping rather than sand the entire thing down, but just sand the front and repaint the front it possable. i was thinking of sanding the whole thing down,
i have had a look now it has dried properly, and you are correct, if i don't sand the entire thing down it won't blend properly. will sand it tomorrow, buy paint tomorrow, and paint on friday. TTFN XcOM |
