Thanks bro! Well I wouldnt do that but the pump was a mess with colored liquid leftovers and torn manufacturer sticker etc so I had to fix it lol

Its time for our 16th update guys!!!
First some random pictures of the pumps stand for you to see the texture of my painting
technique in a little more detail!!

I decided to attach the DVD rewriter with screws eventually so I marked the stand and drilled some holes and voila!! DVD stand - done!

Here you see the clearance between the DVD rom and the stand for me to add some anti vibration rubber later on!

Next step - motherboard i/o plate. Marked for the holes to be drilled. The motherboard plate will be attached from the inside also no screw heads will be visible as I will hide me by using isopon so only the threads will be visible which they will hold the panel with nuts.

And here it is attached for now as I will paint everything and then assemble them back.

I also attached the DVD stand!

As you can see I began working on the side panel as I will smooth some imperfections with isopon and add more details. This will take a while....

Here I drilled a hole for the DVD button which I am going to create out of a 5mm acrylic tube and a small square plastic . It will be between the chassis and the DVD button so if you press it, it will push the button on the DVD.

Next is the cpu waterblock painting! First lets take a look whats in the box!

I sanded the bracket in order to paint it. All my efforts gone wasted even if I tried so many different paints and primers nothing could stay on this bracket lol! So I sanded it again and polished it and I gave up as I didnt want to go to the powdercoater for that small piece only!

I also sanded the plastic piece with 270 grit and used isopon to cover the letters as my painting technique would mess them, making the partially visible.

Ready for painting!!

Two techniques applied here, 8 hours of work (with the resting times)

Final technique (this is not just a brush applied technique) and ready for assembly! 3 days and I will let it rest for a month and more.

After a loooot of work I decided to post an update even though I wanted to finish my work on the side panel which it seems endless. , in order to post the final shot before painting.
It will take a lot of time to be finished but lets check out what I did these days on Sors Salutis.

First I added some anti-vibration feet on the pumps stand.

By using isopon, I filled the gaps between the wooden rods and the acrylic.
I used a very small carving tool in order to manage to fill these little gaps and it took me well
over 2 hours only to fill them.

I also used some isopon to smooth the transition from the plastic parts on the wood.
This process its not the final as I need to sand again, fill any imperfections again, sand and I will repeat these steps as much as I have to till I manage a good finish.

I used 2 different kinds of fiberglass in order to give the side panel more durability and also to create the textures I had too. These process is very very difficult as you will see and it takes days for it to finish.

Filled the edges with more fiberglass.

Added on the bottom part too.

Creating the patterns and texture effect with a dremel and sanding drum.

Sand it with the mouse sander. As you have might noticed I am wearing gloves as the fiberglass is really dangerous for the skin and also becomes itchy. Respiration mask for protection from the huge amount of dust too.

Added the 4th layer of fiberglass!!! Here you will see how I work in order to achieve the desired texture effect.

Also I worked on the other side panel to create this texture. Along with some new painting techniques and old ones, I will create something new and different.

More work!!! Added isopon where I had to, sanded it, added some more and sanded it again!!

I cut the 3 pieces between the windows in a simple design to separate the texture from the middle simple part of the side panel.

Final work on the top part and texture.

Here you will see (not finished though) how the 2 parts of the side panel with the different texture effects look like for now as I have to work on the details for many days yet.

And here is my "artistic" work I did, to create the reservoir holder. I was among many designs but I finally choose this, as it was the most simple and functional.

I draw the main lines on a 5mm white acrylic and cut it by using a diamond disk bit on the dremel.

Improvisation and here is the piece after a lot of filing!
I worked more when I went back inside home with the smaller files but I forgot to take some
pictures.

Bended it with the heat gun and gave it an 75 degrees angle.

And here it is installed!!!
