Layout issues in Ubuntu

I hate uploading it this way, but check the attachment. the google search box is way too big, along with the divider bars. This is on Ubuntu 9.04 on my laptop.

Yeah, I think I also got that in Ubuntu when I was running it.

As you know, I'm working on something to replace a lot of this. If we can just roll on with these little glitches just now, I can attack the source of the problem instead of patching the symptoms.

Thread rez, I am able to replicate this in FF on Windows 7 now.

It looks just fine from my Win7 machine and FF.. IE is good also.

Must be something with the Linux FF Browser.

Fine on windows 7 32bit, Windows 7 64 bit, and vista 32bit. I checked it on FF 3.6.8 and IE7

I'm thinking it might be something resolution related now, cause this looks fine on my home system.
