I recently came across a problem with loading an old game that I had played years ago called "Fallout" - remember that one? I had played it on my old W98 machine before and thought I would reminise and play again. When I tried to install I received an error message that there was not enough room on my HD to install the game-on my new Seagate 80GB driveAfter much hair pulling I realized that it was not detecting my hard drive because I had formatted my drive (all 3 partitions) with NTFS. I quickly took an unused portion of my E: drive (archive) and created a 6GB partition using FAT32 and Volia! it worked. Now when I want to stroll down memory lane and play some old PC games (Wing Commander comes to mind) I just install on F:Old Games partition and everything works fine. If anyone has some more tips on playing old games on new hardware please add to this thread.

Good choice. You ever tried playing with an intelligence under 3? Makes for a very different gaming experience-sometimes hillarious, sometimes thought provoking, even infuriating, but almost always fun
