People who live outside urban areas are restricted in their broadband choices. This is a good solution, plus it's mobile.

Mary had a little lamb. It bumped into a pylon. Ten thousand volts went up its arse and turned its wool to nylon!

On a carPC forum I have heard of people using cheap pay as you go phones that have unlimited data plans to add internet to carPCs. Not fast and you may ask why have constant internet in a car but if/when I setup my carPC I'd have it set to pull weather and traffic conditions via the internet.

It can be fast, it just depends on the phone/network... I regulary exceed 3mbps with my phone.

A live internet connection makes travelling so much nicer. A few months ago, we drove home from Edmonton (about 2 hours), and my wife played WoW all the way home on the laptop using an aircard (mobile broadband).
