Question lcd on side of case

hi guys. im new to modding n id like to put the monitor from my toshiba satellite 2520cdt notebook (which is in perfect condition except for the bottom half) into the side on my pc's case panel. can anyone advise me n the propper procedures on how to go abt doing this? any sort of help and advise will be greatly appreciated.

My System

Laptop LCD screens do not have the converter board needed to allow you to use them with a normal pc. Depending on the LCD (you need the mfg. and the model # off the LCD it's self not the pc it can out of) you can get converter boards, but they are very expensive. It is much cheaper to buy a $199us 15" LCD monitor and gut it then it is to use the laptop screen. That being said EarthLcd.com Sells Controller boards They also sell many other LCD products, some have been used by CrimsonSky in his mods.

I am also about to do this (My plan is to build a rather pathetic system (1.3ghz amd xp1500 (i think!) 512mb ram, radeon 9100 etc. etc.) and stick it in a modded case with an LCD screen in the side and sell it for way more than its worth
