    Interesting. Personally I've been wondering why no one has put out cards with a socket that can fit a number of chipsets (I know this isn't that).

    I think the ASUS trinity runs along these lines as well. They didn't say it was modular though, only that it had a daughter card, and it's Nvidia.

    The hype is that you just buy a new daughter card when your graphics are slow. Not a whole new card. Personally I would buy a whole new card. I just thought the concept was cool lol.
