Question A question abour small case mountable LCD's

While reading "PC Chop Shop" by David Groth I became increasing intrested in small (4"-8") lcd's that I could mount on my case. The only major drawback for me is the fact that most of the lcd's I am referring to are quite expensive. So anyways I was looking at an All Electronics magazine and found some very reasonably priced ones. The problem is that amost all the lcds lack any connectors like the other models that are expensive have. I was wondering if someone thinks it's possible for a noob like me who is learning quickly to eventually be able to convert one of the babies to work on my rig? And if anyone knew of a book or site where someone who may have accomplished this task left their instructions on how to do so. Any help is appreciated.

Here is a link to the lcd's I am intrested in there are two pages and I obviously am more intrested in the actual screens than the scrolling text screens.

First off I would like to apologize for my poor spelling. It was rather embarrassing to come back to check on my posts and see a obvious spelling error in the title. Usually I double-check my work by when I posted last time I guess I was in a hurry. Anyway, sorry for the mistake.

Secondly, I noticed that over 40 people had viewed my post and no one had replied. Perhaps there is a similar post that I overlooked that could have supplied my answer or maybe no one has bothered to lend a hand. I am more able to believe that I simply overlooked similar posts as these forums have been very helpful in the past. Finally, if someone wants to point out my mistake or even better lend some advice then please do so. Thanks.

Thanks for the link but do you think that you could post a link to what kit you think would work at earthlcd? I am very new to all this and can't tell one kit from another.
