Just voted again. Last night I was at work, but right now I'm home. Seriously though.. yours is the best in it's category. My other favorite would be Corfe Castle. Why is it that you appear to be standing still, but the camera captured all the movements from the fire? Obviously, since you were flairing bottles, you have to move around. Is it a light thing? Does the camera only capture your stance just before the shutter closes or how exactly is that done?

ya i want to know that too... i understand that you used a slower shuttter speed and i know that helps with the streaks but your still with no trails. maybe your not moving fast enough... who knows!

Well, there are two ways to do it.... both involve 2 things
    1. you must make sure that you move your body enough that it won't expose crisp during the movement of the light source (the fire in that pic)
    2. after 20 seconds or so of moving the light source to make the trails either do what I did and hold the light source still whilst staying as still as you can for the final 10 seconds of the exposure, or have a friend ready with another camera (like a film camera with no film loaded) to hit the flash at the end and ensure a crisp exposure of your body.

Here's another photo of mine which I just stumbled across - same kinda technique but using a blue phone screen and a beer bottle.
