    Default Getting a New Car

I've had a 2001 Ford Focus since it was brand new with 74 miles on the odometer. It's been 11 years and we're at 150K miles and it's time to move on. The car has been without a working A/C for more than a year and the summers have been hell.

Today was no exception. It was a high of 107, but luckily we were driving our mini-van. We've been looking for a new car for about 30 days now and have been really focused on a Subaru Impreza or a Jetta TDI. The problem is, we don't like traditional colors and I have to have leather. Finding the right car has been nearly impossible.

Today we were on the way home with groceries and we decided that we would take a quick drive by thrrought he usual dealers along the way home. 99% were black, white, or silver and all had cloth seats. We then cut through a Hyundai lot and spotted a small brown SUV that appeared to be too pricey. I got out and gave it a once over, noticing it had leather inside and YES it was just the right price!

Needless to say, and hour later it was ours. What did we get? A Brown Hyundai Tucson for $23,000
