I feel so dumb...I forgot to change the RAM timings back to default.
Oi, that caused me a lot of frustration. Well, I got it running @ 3.6GHz, 9x Multiplier, 1600MHz FSB, 1.475V, DDR2 800. Ran a stress test for 5 mins, no problems except the temperature: 58C. Looks like its time to pick up that nice watercooling kit...

Neeways, thanks for all the help.

    Voltages? FSB's? Megahertz?

    A 1600 FSB! Wow, how's the 14.4GHz?

Oh silly stuff aside, try lowering your voltages and timings to get the best performance. Depending on your chip, you might be able to get your voltages down to around 1.4-1.45. Lower volts means you'll have lower temps. As for watercooling, if you have the cash, go for it, but if you just want air cooling, look at the Thermalright Ultra 120 eXtreme. That's what I'm aiming for later.

    Wait I don't get it: 1600FSB = 14.4GHz?

I'm planning on getting this watercooling kit. Its gotten really good reviews and is somewhat cheap. I'll try messing with the voltages later, I don't feel like changing anything else right now.

Times 1600x9 and you should see what I mean.

I refer to FSBs by their true value, not quad-pumped value.

1600 FSB should be 3.6GHz because you have to divide it by 4 first.

Actually 1600FSB is the effective FSB, which is why you have to divide by 4.
