    fans spin then nothing

neweg's motto should be "ALL of our products our DOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

idk what i should do cause it could be a short or DOA mobo

Check every connection you can, but ffs make sure you're grounded. The last thing you need (and might have done) is to kill components with an electrostatic discharge.

Also, start with the basics. Make sure the mobo has a speaker plugged in so you can hear the beep code. Take out everything but the CPU. Turn it on. Listen for the beep code. It should be a memory error. Look up your codes on google. If it's a memory error, good. Put the memory in. Start the computer again. You should get a GPU error or something else like that. Keep doing this until you figure out the faulty component.

Now, if you don't get jack **** with just the mobo/cpu, make sure the CPU is seated properly and aligned properly. If it's not, then re-seat it (most CPU's are keyed anyways so this should NOT be something you mess up).

If it's still ****ed, RMA it.

the cpu is like sodlered in place cause the manufaturer does it and it is a mini-itx

i was wondering if it could be the PSU cause i have had numerous problems with this PSU and was wonderin if it was that :/

and i don't think there is a speaker on the mobo caus eit is an ITX

i'll change the PSU and try that and hope to god it works

is it safe working it on a anti-static bag?

not really. a anti-static bag only repells static when the component is sealed inside. a anti-static workplace mat is probably the safest thing to use , along with a anti-stat wrist strap.

hope you didnt fry your mobo, probably didnt. do you have carpet?

Sweetness d00d! I looked some more tonight before work, but still couldn't find anything. I'll probably turn up in a couple weeks when we're unpacking everything at the new house.

Yo, dude, have you realised that someone else on the forum is making a mod strikingly similar with the same helmet?
