    Default Project HGR

    Project Name –

    [HGR] Handy Gaming Rig aka
    Project: HGR

My project is to create a somewhat portable (I hope?) stylin’ gaming rig. But, with no sponsors of any kind, it’ll have to be an affordable build. Also, this is my first custom PC build/PC modding project. So, as the worklog progresses, I’ll add in pictures as I go and details too. I hope the TBSC Community will enjoy watching this worklog! Oh, and it’ll be done before the end of August! School starts back up then… YIKES.

Here’s the specs I’ll be going for… at least for now.

    ~ 1 Gig of Corsair Memory (2 - 1/2 gig sticks.)
~ 80 gig Western Digital HDD
    ~ 2.4 GHz Processor (Athlon 64 3800)
~ Oh, and an ABIT MicroATX Motherboard
(If you’d like the links to NewEgg for ‘em, PM me.)

The color scheme will probably black, blue, white, and clear. (Like plexi, or stuff like that…)

Here’s the case I’m ordering… I really like the handle on top.

So, stay tuned for more updates! I’m in the process of ordering my case now, so it may be a few days. Oh, and I know I’m probably lacking a few pics, but there will be more! Woo, I’m glad I finally started this.

Haha, yeah. It's sort of... plain. A blowhole would be nice.

I'll try to get my plans posted as soon as I can. I've been busy today, so I haven't had time yet... (Urg... )

Hopefully tonight I can get 'em posted. Sorry for the delay guys. I really want to get on this mod!

    Big Update – (Well, sorta.)

    Alrighty. Here’s a rough plan. I can’t tell you everything, can I?

I grabbed some images off of NewEgg to start. Then, I went over the spots that I want to change with red. As I post the pictures, I’ll give you a heads up on what my pictures mean. Sound good? I think so!

So, here's my plan for the front...

I plan to add in my own mesh in the big red areas. Also, I plan to "streamline" the case. (That's what those red circles and ovals are about)

    Plan for the back...

I plan to cut out the red area and add in my own mesh. Also, I plan to cut the fan part and install a fan grill.

    Plan for the Side Panel...

I plan to make a window. Pretty obvious. (Haha...) Hopefully there'll be an etching or a sticker of some sort. Maybe of the project's name?

Oh, and I plan to paint the case. I think this is enough information for now!
You'll see more ideas and such as I go through the process. As for the ordering the case, it'll be here in a few days.

If the pictures are too big, let me know. Again, I'm sorry for the delays on my project!

Current Project: n/a (Coming real soon though)
