    Default Saitek Gamers Keyboard

Recently my Logitech Elite Corded keyboard died due to normal wear and tear and a couple of life shortening occurances. I started looking for a replacement. Logitech seems to have discontinued the elite. No stores carry it any more. The only place you can get them is online. I started looking an different kinds. After some debate and advice from a friend I bought the Saitek Gamers Keyboard. Its amazing. Comes with a 9 button Command pad with 2 different modes. Keyboard and command pad are both backlit blue. Heavy duty. I highly suggest anyone thinking about getting one to do so.

Looks pretty neat, i got some questions...
First off i would like to look at one, where did you purchase it?
Also, what is the MSRP of this keyboard?
Thanks for the post, i might be buying a new keyboard.

I bought mine at BestBuy, but you can get them about anywhere, Ive seen them at CircuitCity, CompUSA, BestBuy, OfficeDepot, and Staples. I paid $49.99 for mine at BestBuy, everywhere else they are like 58 or 59.99.

I got one recently fresh off an NTcompatible review. It took a while to get used to because the buttons are about a mm or 2 larger than that of my old logitech wireless elite or mx duo. you can turn the blue light off or set its brightness. this thing is stable having nice large rubber pads on the bottem. I personally have no use for the gamepad. If you want a perfect matching mouse. The Microsoft mouse by S+arck (or starck if ya wanna look it up) looks fantastic next to it. I may soon switch to another wireless setup however, which is a shame because I absolutely love this thing. And it can take a beating! It is also VERY easy to take apart and clean (Its dishwasher safe) Good luck with it and for anyone else thinking about picking one up go for it.

    3 problems
    larger than normal keys
the game pad connects with an ethernet connector instead of USB so you cant use it unless you also use the keyboard
nowadays you should have a usb port for a $50 keyboard

It all depends on where and what time, sometimes other places have better deals / sales.

That looks fantastic. I've been looking for a quality backlit keyboard for a while now.
