    Default Your favourite brand?

What is your favourite brand of laptop and why...........

I have spent the past two months looking in to getting a mobile rig that I can use for gaming as well as for high end graphic work while on the move.

After much searching I have come up with a few that are good. The first being the obvious choice of Alienware, but my second choice was something that is not widely publicised across the pond in Europe. This being Hypersonic.

Below is a picture of their top of the range EX7 machine.

What do you think are the best around and for what reason?

alienware's are good but are over publisized and over priced... yes they are nice machines but the one you have looks nicer than an alienware, what are its specs?

Dell just released one...called the Gamers Dream Machine...has a nVidia 6800Gt moble in there. Hell, I would love to have 6800Gt moble in my desktop (Currently have a Gf-FX 5700 Ultra). I saw it on nVidias website yesterday.

Customize it on dell's site here.

What nVidia was saying about it here.

    ROFL

    Just priced one...had a GF-6800 Gt, 2 Gig ram, 2.3ghz Pentium M, 100gb Hard Drive. Was about 3 grand. If I had this computer I would....i donno....use it?

CLick on the image from my post to view the spec of the machine. It takes you straight there. I think the spec is pretty impressive with an ATI X800 in there as standard!

I dont know that much about mobile gaming, but you might want to look into Voodoo PC (typically known for there awsome wriring jobs) So look into them.

Also you said gaming so it rules this one out, but if it was just for graphics, then (do i dare say it?!?!) a mac might not be a bad choice.

Well out of all 3 (Dell, Alean Ware, What ever you had already posted...some weird uk name that im too lazy to go up and find) the dell was the cheepest and you lost no performance. (Except maby in processor power, but its over a P4 vs. a Pentium M, so you can eather get kick ass speeds [1.3ghz more than the PM] or get good batery life and decent speeds)

that thing does look awsome. But if your mostly graphics oriented I would also say look into the mac, however if you want both the graphics and the gaming I would go for that slick machine in one of the nice custom graphics they offer (is that paint or a big sticker?) or the Dell, can you even order Dell's over there? alienware isn't worth the cost. Sager makes the same thing for alot less, same chassis, same internals. Not sure what exact model it is though.
