I got a free Antec PSU in my rig right now. Seems to be doing fine.
If I'm not mistaken, Apevia is a case manufacturer. If I were you, I would buy a psu from somebody that really specializes in psu's like pc power and cooling thermaltake (they don't specialize but they still make good stuff).
ok thanks. i was just looking at some reviews and it seems like the 12v rails are a bit underpowered for my system anyway
If you go with Thermaltake, make sure to buy the newer ones. If I am correct, they switched to a different and better PSU maker somewhat recently. I'm not sure about this though...
Anyways, you can get a PSU from a company that doesn't specialize in it. Because some get good PSU's and just slap their brand name on it, like Corsair. Just read a few reviews and see what they got to say. Reading more than 3 would be great.

8800gts, dual core proc at 2.14ghz(might overclock it), asus p5w dh deluxe mobo, cd burner/drive, dvd burner/drive, fan controller, and various fans (about 7 total)
You only need about 400W for that. check the post about the PSU calculator (really helped me). I'm running a Core 2 system with water cooling and an 8800GTX all on an Antec Neo HE 550W PSU.
