    Default fans for my comp

hey. im fairly new to case modding and i have a few questions. these might have been asked already, and if they have, srry about it. anyways, what places have you put your fans that have given you the best preformance. i have plenty of space on the side pannels and on the top. also what adice do you have for me. i have a hp pavillion a 320 n

i just added a 120mm fan on the side pannel and i am looking for more cooling.

front and back is good. then if u need more cooling, add a fan on the side and on top.

thanks alot. do you hvae any recomendations on which fan i should get? i am either gonna put 2 80mm fans on the side and an 80mm on top or do you thin i should go with another 120 on the side and an 80 on the top. and should these be sucking in air or blowing out air. my back fan is the only fan blowing out right now

    as i posted in here:
-you should have equal or slightly less air going into the case than out (negative pressure)
-there should be straight flow of air, eg. front-back, top-back, front-top
-the hotter parts should get fresh air
-heat rises, therefore try to place ure exhausts in the upper parts of the case

to answer some of your questions: try to get 120mm fans if you can since they can move lot of air if needed or be quiet. its hard to say where to place the fans but a general advice is try to move air in one direction. i would put an intake in the front, one on the side right by the cpu, a top and rear exhaust (plus the psu). all this by maintaining none or slightly negative pressure. you have to experiment with it.

alright thanks for all of your help. my local cicuit city carries Antec 120 mm fans with a thermal sensor on it. i have already gotten one and it works good. yesterday i cut a hole in my side pannel and put the fan right infront of my cpu.
