    Default Antec 900

Would an 8800GTX fit in this case (will it hit the hard drive bays)?

Lol, my bad. I figured you were debating over buying the case after looking at pics of it online or something... I was just too lazy to look. Let me go now.

    EDIT:

Sounds like their might be some clearance issues, but being a mid tower ATX case, I can't see it having too much of a problem. You can always whip out the ol' dremel.

glad my post got people asking questions lolz

mainly you have to look at the dimensions of teh case, something bigger then the soprano will fit the video card but barley fit...
also it dependso n the motherboard, if you get a motherboard that has the top slots take up then you might have problems down low, so try tofix the top PCIe slot for your video card in any motherboard =]

check out some pics of the sirius case to see what i mean by side ways hdd bays. actually i'll go and find some now =]

you can see in this picture the inside of the case along with the side ways bays

if your case has something like that inside then it will have problems

That's an old issue, fixed in november. Graphics cards that were put in the top slot didn't have enough clearance (in the back of the case) for a DVI cable to fit between the port and the overhang of the back of the case.

I could check the dimensions, but i can't find any on the 8800GTX

The case is designed with 9 total bays, the top 3 are open for 5.25 drives, and the bottom 6 (where a card would go) are taken up by 2 hard drive cages. I *could* end up taking out one of the hard drive cages and have it fit, but really don't want to........

Can anyone find dimension measurements? That would help a lot.

Dimensions of the 8800GTX card are:

    (Taken from Newegg)
    PCB Length = 10.5"
    With Bracket = 11.026"
    Height (Inside Case) = 4.376"
With Bracket (Partially Hidden) = 4.975"
    Width = 1.809"
