All I can say is, I made 'em, and theyre loud. They also put out good sound quality (they were once Harmon/Kardon, made a mini-amp, popped the tubes on).

Okay. I think you guys will like this one .

This is going to be an original shape. The front is going to be curved yet have an angular design with plastic and plexiglass. The tubes are shown:

This is just a mockup sketchup. A refined version will be coming later. This is just to get the basic concept (didn't finish the speaker drivers :p)

    A little more refined:

Decided to see if I could find/stain some yellow plexiglass. Also, I finished the logo on the side.

I've found some yellow plexiglass (but it will come later, as I'm gonna work on the metal for now...) from eBay Stores. I'm gonna get it in a week or two. Also, doesn't melting aluminum produce toxic vapors?

    Here's whats been going on:

    -Food poisoning-
-Traveling to Florida with food poisoning-
-Going to a wedding two days after food poisoning-

I just need to thing of a neat idea for the yellow plexi to move out of the way for the optical drives to open. I'm thinking a couple of motorized yellow pieces of plexi on the top folding out to reveal the drives.
