Sorry guy, just tying to motivate you to post more pics of your progress. That will boost your worklog's traffic afterall.

Got some pics of the new paintjob. Looks hella cleaner.

this case is going to have a certain "roughness" factor, like it's been through a war.

Wow. I didn't realize the case was steel until now :p.

Tested the two fans in the front. They look and work awesome (it's like a gigantic tornado times two). Pics will be posted later.

Also, I have the plastic piece ready for modding. Now to go buy some bondo , some rusty looking paint (gonna make some), and a couple other things.

Now that's what I'm talkin about! Painjob looks pretty cool, do I detect a little influence from Commando's work?

Yeah. I took the carbon fiber effect, and literally turned it upside down. I took the paint that was still on the grip matting, and turned it upside down, placing the paint on a layer of polyurethane (3D effect), then slowly pulling it off. Then I took a new sheet of grip matting, and cut out some flames. Sprayed over with silver paint (made sure it went over the edges), and peeled away. Then afterwards, I did the same, but with the other side of the pattern (and in flat black). Finished it off with a little polyurethane clear coat.

BTW, polyurethane takes forever to finally cure, but when it does, you get a miraculous shine.

You should try to get some clearer shots of the paint job, I'd like to see it closer. Can you change the light source to avoid the glare?

I created another window for this mod. It has UV reactive crystals instead of the acid marks. LED's shorted out, too .

    Here's a scan of the crystals/window:

The Fans on the Front Look Great! I don't really understand what I'm looking at on the bottom pic though.
