    ------------------------------------------
Well, I've finally started my worklog on Project Makeshift (my cryo idea, remember?).
I however wont be working on my main case, because its troublesome kinda, so I'll be working on a different case for my P3 system.
I expect this to take less than a month, but who knows.

Here are some photos of the case in its current state. A lil bit dirty, I know, just taken it out from my tool shed:

    ---------------
Later today I'll advance to Stage 1 - Cleaning it, taking it apart, sanding and making holes.

I have exactly the same case I am working on in my project except the front bezel.. About your motherboard. I have a really old with an AGP slot, I don't know if it's P3, but it's intel and runs at 733 MHz, but there is one problem linked with the motherboard I think. I tried running yesterday and it would not let me run 2 IDE devices at the same time. When the CDROM worked, the hard drive wouldn't and vice versa.

    A little update:

Marking the holes to be cut.

    Holes cut off.

Remember my first etch and that grill like piece of metal I had to take off? I just used the same piece of grill here, but polished it up so it looks cool.

    More updates hopefully tomorrow.

Didnt do much today, because of school and the holiday.
Did some more marking on the case for holes, sanded it a bit, made my own turbine fan, got some more ideas.

I hope that this week I'll finish the bodywork, and get to the painting stage.
    Photos tomorrow.

Okay, so I've done a few things today:
    - Make my turbine fan.
    - Cut the front intake, polish around it.
    - Polish the drive trays.
    - Make the fan/light switch holder (that floppy slot thingie).
    - Installed mobo.
And now for some eye candy!

What happens when you take Broken Ornament + Hot glue + Fan? Turbine fan!

This is how it looks in the end.

    Polishing the HDD/FDD tray.

    Finished the switch thingie.

HDD Tray in place, masking the CD tray to be polished.

Time to finish for today, this is how the front looks so far.

Mobo in place, so are the trays.

    Polished metal, mmmmmm.

    This is all for today.
Tomorrow Im going to cut the big grill holes if I get enough time.

Oh yea, also, I wont use plexi in this project, only maybe 1 or 2 small windows made with plastic.

Its time for an update boys and girls!

Can you guys guess what these parts are for? Anyone? Well, just read on!

Cutting a nuclear warning sign in the blue plastic window.

Shaping it to be precise using these tools. Not a laser cut in the end, but I never knew I could do that, must be modder blood in my veins.

Oh my god, whats that? :O That has to be one of the best parts of the upcoming mod A "window".

Now the FUN part begins! Rusting it all up! AWESOME!, check out the result!!

More rust on the insides of the case.

Rusting the home-made turbine fan and some other ****zels.

My my, that looks sweet! I cant wait to paint it black!

    Another view.
