U got that right, lol.
I love those two horizontal accent pieces you used too, just above the megablow hole... they really add to the curved aspect of the front of the case.
Its the small details which make the big picture!

Wow, that is looking fantastic. I am looking forward to seeing this.

Have you thought about putting a bubbler in the front of the mega blowhole because the blue light diffused through bubbles would be awesome. All I'm thinking is two peices of thin 3mm perspex, sealed with water inside and a small air pump set up. You could even put some of that uv reactive solution into the water for extra glowy goodness, you could even set it up so that you can turn off the blue lighting and have a 'stealth' black light so that just the water glows. Maybe a bit ambitious, but I'm sure that you could do it.

Oh man...yeah...the bondo work on this just makes me want to go buy some...never used it but they way it finishes looks down right amazing. Time to visit the hard ware store today.

got a few hours tonight so i knocked over the fanbox,


first off was to knock all the edges off using sowe 60g

counter sink the holes, better to do this now before the bondo hits!

cut some stips of flexable plastic, im using these as the guides an they will simply peel away @ the end.

Bondo time!!!!

i want to add small blow hole lips to keep with the theme inside and out.

First of 3 layers of bondo.

starting to take shape

after another bondo and rub.

peel the plasitc guides away

a qik rub on the iners

redrill the screw holes

finally some spray putty,

so far so good


will wet rub this in a few days-to a week, then another sprey with putty before paint.

Wow...now that is some amazing stuff...i mean...I thought the box looked fine as plexy...but thats flat out amazing.
