Amazing! it just blows you away. I would recommend anyone who wants to take to the sky buy this. One thing though without a joystick the game is kinda sucky but I dug out my Microsoft Force Feedback 2 and it is amazing. The game is real life size. So you can take off in your 747 from New York and Fly to London in real time. Props to you if you have the patience to fly for 11 hours or how ever long it is.

I have friends who are private pilots and they _love_ FS deluxe because of all the details. They can practice ifr landings, land mark spotting (M$ fs X has most of the landmarks pilots look for), and many other items before going to the airport for the real practice. My sister-n-law used an earlier version of the FS to practice a trip from Seattle to Juneau, and said it was like she had done that trip before once she got in the air.

Would make a good gift if they intend to use it. It really is a good way to practice your procedures.

Why would anybody want to be an ATC? Too much stress too much responsibility.

I reckon the pay must be good though to be an ATC. Plus you must get time off every so while so you dont burn out.

FSX even has multiplayer so you can join the skies with other players or fly as a copilot.
