All drive companies have DOAs or equipment that fails long before it's life expectancy. It's a side effect of mass manufacturing and can't be helped.
It's a matter of personal choice. Look at your warranty, size, speed and cost. Then make your decision.
I've always used Seagate. I guess if the specs and price are exact, then it really doesn't mater.
