Need a amd 64 cpu

I am new to building/modding computers and I just messed up my first attempt and now need a new cpu but cant spend to much money right now; but I need my comp built in the next month. So yeah someone with spare parts and a cpu please let me know how much. Thanks a lot

Hmm, I have an AMD athalon 64 3400+. It is already in the mobo so it isn't coming out. Do you want an entire PC or just parts? If you want my PC I'll move it to a new case and sell it too you. Either that or you can just buy parts. Tell me if you are interested.

I just need a cpu and maybe a few other parts but I do not really know what these parts are until I get someone to look at my setup because I do not have anything to test what parts are working. Im pretty sure the cpu is fryed so thats all I need as of now.

well, what does that system do/not do. you can most likely trouble shoot it yourself if you know what to look for. what was going on at time of death?

Im super new to this and and just got a case and all my parts etc. When I was finished I went to turn it on and just nothing happened....
That was about 8 months ago and I have been really busy since then but now Im getting back into it and I really need my comp built. After this I want to get into it a little more, but as of now its about as simple as it gets.

Yeah I have been looking at tigerdirect. I think I am just going to get it from them because I can just drive to the store and I need it asap.

Im super new to this and and just got a case and all my parts etc. When I was finished I went to turn it on and just nothing happened....

I wouldn't start looking at the processor yet..A few things to check first. Make sure the power button is properly seated and on the right pins on the motherboard. Make sure the switch on the psu is in the on position. Lastly, and I know this sounds stupid.. make sure you have the power cord plugged in securely to the wall and the psu. I can't count how many times I put in a new part, and went to turn it back on and forgot to plug it in, or had the power switch in the wrong position.

yeah I have heard this a lot. Someone else has it (i havent even seen it in 4 months) He said he looked over it all and he cant find the problem, so i figured it wasnt anything such as that but when I get it today I will double check.
