Nicest thing : I helped some guy out with his programming assignment at college. I didn't get it working, but I did attempt to help. His layout was all screwed, so we had no idea what was missing, and where it was missing

Naughtiest thing : I am not a naughty person Probably the naughtiest thing I could think of is I forgot to post something for someone, for 2 weeks I did refund half the price of what I sold them though

Naughty: Well despite that I regret it now, I ditched my best friend when he needed me to wait in line for a PS3 at Best Buy (which was really important to him). It was supposed to be 6-8 hours but then it turned into 48-56 hours of waiting in line. Which doesn't justify abandoning him at all. Even though I was tired and cranky because he called 13 times in a row, ticking off my parents, which ticked off me. (I did call him back 4 hours later asking if he still wanted me to come down, but he took some days off of work, which isn't good because he just moved out.)

Nice: The nicest thing that I have done all year is being a true blue geek. Whenever my father or my younger or older brother as well as my friends and distant family (<-and a few of their friends) have troubles with there PC's and Laptops, I come running to the rescue! ...well actually they come running to me because I am free lol But still, I choose to help them anyways. (some more than others *cough* younger brother *cough*) *Tip: Google is a great way to fix computers when you are not sure of what to do or what the problem is. ^^

People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People’s heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true. People are stupid; they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so are all the easier to fool.

Nice: I was in the local Halfords (car accessory shop) and there was an old timer buying a headlight bulb. They have an installation service, but they charge based on the value of the part. He was moaning about the cost, but the cashier couldn't do much about it, only sympathise. So I offered to fit it for him.

He bought the bulb and we went to his car. Upon looking into it, I discovered that the wire had fallen off his existing one, which was fine.

I fixed it and told him to go back inside and get a refund. He was delighted.

He offered to pay me but I declined, telling him to give it to a charity if he felt I deserved it. I didn't need the money, I was already feeling really good inside about such a small thing bringing such delight to an old guy.

    Naughty? Not really.

(BTW, I don't actually like that case, so I hope I don't win...)

Nice: Oh god, tons of things. I can't really pick one, so i'll list some general stuff. I often give money that I have earned to my mother when she needs it (same goes for friends and other family members), I help people carry heavy things, I'll fix people's things (if i know how and they ask nicely), general stuff like that. I'm also getting better at holding my tongue -- not syaing things that could make people feel bad or worse about something.

Naughty: Uh, I can't think of much, really. I'll have to get back to you.

    EDIT

Naughty: Ahh, now I remember. One day me and a couple of friends were testing making some bombs (no pyrotechnocs however, all just Baking soda and Vinegar) in half pint water bottles. After we fiured how to make it a controlled detonation (it basically wouldn't go boom until we wanted it to, or a few seconds afterwords), we made up about 5 or so, and got them ready to throw (think home-made frag grenades, but less potent. Still loud, though). We hid near an elementary school and tossed about 2 or 3 of them into a field near some small kids (not near the kids, but kinda close). They went boom, and the kids wen't running. I laughed so hard, I literally pissed myself. The other "bomb"s we had, we took to a dumpster then detonated them inside there.

Nice: well about a month ago now, i wrote an english term paper for someone. they ended up getting... 87% i think it was. and you know what? i still havent been paid back. probably a good thing though... i can call in a favour now.

Naughty: im using my newfound organic chemistry knowledge to try and discover a home made high power explosive. its not that easy... ive basically got alcohol, vinegar, acetone, bleach, hydrogen peroxide and a few other oxidizing agents to work with. i keep getting ketone and aldehyde end products which arent very helpful. i could use some muriatic acid (i think thats how you spell it). muriatic is used for cleaning cement, and its basically weak hydrochloric acid. if i had hydrochloric, i could whip up a simple reflux apparatus, and make either DPPP or trimeric AP. both being super power explosives. something like 10-15 times as powerful as dynamite or C4. crystalline and very stable too.

ok this one im actually going to put out a strong warning on. dont let me give you any ideas. even though DPPP and trimeric AP are stable, the process of making them is super UNstable. at one point you have to keep the temperature constant while adding a component, and a rise of even 2 or 3 degrees will set off a massive acidic boilover. only problem is that its an exothermic reaction, so you need a huge ice bath and a very good thermometer... not to mention nerves of steel. ive found documentation about that particular drawback... the aftermath is terrible. but hey, its the holy grail of organic chem to find something like this, and its hard to do, so im trying to do it.

<EDIT> snowfire supposes i may be giving away too much information about making DPPP and trimeric AP. so just to clarify, ive listed way too many ingredients there, but im not going to say which ones are useful, and im definitely not going into any more detail about the steps involved. its a finicky process and you need to have it just right, so unless you find something on google somehow, you cant piece it together from what ive said.

    Nice:
Helped people out in ways I can. I helped people with thier PC related questions at Micro Center even though I don't work there. My friend got a job and didn't have any attire that was according to the dress code. He also didn't have any money. So I bought him over $100 worth of dress shirts and pants. He probably thinks that I forgot, but I still remember. But I don't mention it because I decided that it was on me. This same friend was very hyped up for Gears of War (Xbox 360 game) but he was broke. He didn't get his paycheck until a week later and didn't get his credit card yet. He waited one day already, restraining himself til after midterms. But he couldn't wait any longer. So I bought it for him.

    Naughty:
I don't think I have done anything naughty. The worst thing I could think of (which isn't that bad I hope...) was not coming home to visit my family and friends enough. Nothing explosive for me, honestly!

Okay first is the nice... which I got punished for??

*** I witnessed a guy kicking in the front door of a store and then running away, so I called the police, followed the guy to the bar he went to, told the bouncer what was happening and had HIM call the police, then I handcuffed the guy (never mind why I had handcuffs in the car, my wife and I are freaks), escorted him back to the store and waited there as a witness for the police.
Well, it turns out that Florida does not recognize citizen's arrest and so since I had brought the guy from point A to point B against his will, I was arrested for kidnapping and spent 9 days in jail before the state decided not to prosecute and released me.

    Now for the naughty:

*** My wife and I got into a bit of a spat about me spending too much on SCUBA gear, so I applied for another credit card (we already have too many) with a 5K limit, and maxed it out on all the stuff I wanted. She still doesn't know and every free cent I get is going to pay that off but without letting her know so I have to keep getting money orders and paying the bills that way because if it comes out of our bank account she'll know!

You spent 9 days in jail for helping out a store?? That just plain sucks man.

As for me, I can't think of anything right now. It's midnight and I'm tired.
