well i'm recently been noticing horrable visual problems with my moniter so....ITS TIME TO GET A NEW ONE. so i need everybodys input to decide the best 17" crt monitor on the market hopefuly on the affordable side. i already blew up my old one anyway.

17s are pretty affordable nowadays. I don't usually see a whole lot of difference from one to another. There is not much further innovation there since LCDs have become far more commonplace. I would only stay away from MAG. Everyone of their monitors I have seen is a POS. But that is just my opinion.

id go with an LG or a Sony. as Zeus said, there is not much differnce between the crt's because its an old technology and cannot advance too much further and by now all the companies are caught up with eachother in this area. just go to electronics stores that have monitors on display and decide which one you like.

too bad you are not in Arizona. I have two really good 17 CRTs that I am trying to sell.
EDIT: Sorry, put in lcds but meant CRTs. That is what I have

it's just not practical to ship them. (shipping cost, packaging, etc)
