    Default Hard drive cages

    im doing my frist mod on an older case and it only has 3 hd slots and i want more. Should i just fab one or is there some place that i can buy one?

    You could buy one, but I personally would just fab one. I make these out of acrylic:

    I've found that ripping a hard drive cage out of an old case works rather well.
    If you want to make one for style purposes, go for it.

    I don't know where you are from Monk, but in Maplin in the UK you can buy hard drive mounts and attach them to the original cage.

    Or you could just suspend them from the cage above using elastic, preventing vibrations running through the case.
