That is a really nice mod, however I must admit I prefer Mars City. It's amazing the extent that some people go to to make these things. I would never have the time, nor effort to make something like that. (Well I would have the effort, just not the time or patience.) And it's projects like that, that seperate the boys from the men.

That mod is really cool! A lot of detail and the "rust" was very well done. Interesting keyboard mod. I wonder how he did that? Not sure if I would like to place my hands on that mouse; doesn't look too comfortable.
I must agree with purdy. That case is extremely nice, but the Doom 3 mod was in a complete other league.
that mod put me modding, when I saw that one I wanted that too. Obviously it'll take a long time before I can mod like that...
but I _do_ think everybody can pull off a real nice mod, If you only have enough time, money and patience...
Oh yeah, experience also helps
My favorite so far is a worklog here actually.

It might take an hour or so to go through the whole worklog but to see it from the original crap HP case and come out the way it did just blows me away. 2 words: bondo master.
I agree with this statement. Doom 3 is in my opinion the best case ever made.the Doom 3 mod was in a complete other league.
...why is no-one laughing?2 words: bondo master.

As for me:
A while a ago I saw this one really sweet mod on some russian site, it had dual remote-controlled LCD Monitors coming off the back. It was a streamlined desktop case with a really nice window. It sorda looked like the front end of a sports card (without the tails and tires) He had a cover over the components like on HP-Res by defyant, and by doing so he was able to make to watercooling pipes look symmetrical. It had UV lighting and custom LEDs in the fans: each fan had blue, purple, red and orange. It had a slot loading DVD drive that popped out the side of the case with press of a button...
There was probably more to it, but thats all I could see from the picture, and I couldn't read it because it was russian. If anyone has seen this before, let me know, I never bookmarked it. Im not saying this was better than Mars city, I just like it more...

I'm really impressed with both the HL2 and Doom 3 cases, but the technical side of Crimson's just puts it ahead of anything I've seen. Artistically I think they're both very close to even, but the sheer amount of electronics built in to the Doom 3 one pushes it ahead for me.
