    what is the diffrence between SATA RAID1 and RAID0 ?

    same as EIDE Raid1 and Raid0

    Raid 1 (Mirroring) 2 Drives of 9 gig place in this format would get you a 9gig Disk that has a backup

    Raid0 (Stripping) 2 Drives of 9 gigs get you one drive of 18Gig that has no backup.

    sata is raid? which is best the mobo im looking supports ATA and RAID?

    SATA = Searal ATA
    EIDE or PATA = Paralle ATA.

    Not all SATA controllers have Raid ablity ICH6 (Non Raid) ICH6R (Raid).

    Dont know which one would be the best choice as I dont know what you are looking at.. Stopped mind reading about 6 months ago.

    dude i wish i could mind read or atleast communicate telopathiclly but i am building a gameing rig out of an ammo can
    is PATA the same as IDE Ultra ATA100

    most new mobos support raid 1 and 0 so i wouldnt worry. just go with whatever fits you and check out the specs.
