    Default LED - Neon lights

hey guys, id like to start off by sayin, yes I AM a noob at this. I just bought this new computer and im itchin to mod it out. My question is how do you (if even possible) hook up a LED light for a car inside you computer case? I purchased one of those led lights you hook up to your 12v outlet in your car, and well, i dont have a car anymore, so any help with this would be much appriciated.

    Thanks,

    Don ( thevolta@hotmail.com )

find out what the power and ground is on the led and the red wire on the molex connectors is the 12v and the black one next to it is its ground.... also the yellow wire on the molex is 5v

ah, allow me to help yah.

Molex connectors have four wires, 12v, ground, ground, 5v. 12v is normally yellow, 5v red.

If there are two wires to the led system you're asking about, find the one that's a colored wire, or dotted or not plain black (they might have a design on them) and that's positive. find an old fan with a molex connector, cut the fan off (but leave plenty of wire on the connector), strip what you need, then connect the proper wires together and plug it in, should work.

if you can take a picture (or alot of them) and get details in them (like showing one or both wires, etc) that would be very, very useful. i could make you a diagram at that point.
