    Default Upgrade Time...new Parts

So I want to upgrade my hardware, and found these parts. Anyone see anything i've missed out, cos it seems to be an overall good deal to me. Let me know if you think it's worth spending a little extra for another product and so forth.

Since I don't see a CPU on this list and you are getting a socket 939 motherboard, that means that you already have a socket 939 CPU right? Just making sure you didn't forget the CPU. hehe

You should wait the the 5 months for conroe. Maximum PC just tested it and the extreme was 30-75% faster then the FX-62 in the same system. And the pricing is comparable to what AMD is charging. If you are going to get a whole new mobo and all that I think you will be happier with conroe. Looking at the card you want to buy I think it's safe to assume you are building a pretty serious rig. By the way, whats with the video card cooler?

I've changed some stuff and so forth. I've allready got the rather spiffing Opteron 939 UP in my computer, but i can't overclock it with my cheapo motherboard, so i figure this Abit beasty aught to work nicely.

Also, as i have a powercooler Zalman for the CPU, i wanted a Zalman for the card too-it's quiter as well- but i've changed that to this new zalman chipset cooler, which is cheaper and apparently much more effective-not to mention a damn sight prettier to boot. I might overclock the graphics card as well, if i get really saucy at one point.

Thanks for the feedback guys! I also got a stock Keyboard for around $10/£6 which will replace the very, very, very expensive cordless logitech keyboard which broke. all in all, not a bad deal, i think.

Obviously I will mod this system to death. And beyond if need be.

I don't know about the video card or the video card due to me only using nvidia and I have only used stock CPU cooler, but I will say I have the exact same motherboard and I like it. I have only had one problem which was when I put in my hard drive it wouldnt pick it up so I had to reset it back to default, but then it worked fine.

These are just parts for an upgrade-the only case i'm working on at the mo is the Int. Project, which is in my sig. If i had the time to do it, i'd be finished it by now, but that's the problem right there!

Thanks for that, .jrauck, are we talking about a Hitachi SATAII Deskstar here by any chance?
