Whatever happened to the LED guides?

I've been checking around for the LED guides to get answers to questions, and I haven't been able to find them unless I do a search under google and even then I only get one thread out of the two I remember seeing there before.
And then when I click on the guide links to find the other one, it says it the areas no longer exist.
Err, wha happen? heh
