Yeah, i think i saw those... I just don't think they are flexy enough
I'm thinking of putting my GPU (GPUs soon i hope) and my other cards close to my motherboard, but not that close... The flexible cables are still ribbon cables - they bend a bit in 1 direction, but not all directions (unless i missed one ofcourse)
I suppose i could get one like that and separate the wires in the ribbon making it more flexible...but if i'm going to do that, it may be best to make my own?!?!?
Is this guy serious?
you can fold those flex ones several times creating funny angles. I don't know how seperating them would work. Might be implications for signal quality if you were going to bundle them ... good luck making your own ! I want to hear how that goes <<<, lays down the gauntlet
So not to beat a dead horse or anything *quickly hides bloody bat* but has anyone tried this? I would love to know if using a riser on a PCI express vid card hurts performance very much. If it was very slight, say less than one half of one percent, then I would love to take advantage of it for a mod. It would sure make thigns easier to fit in a briefcase ;-)
