    Default Ebay and cpu's

Would you buy used cpu's off of Ebay?

    Just want others opinions.

    Thanks,

    D.

    Depends on the seller.

I've bought a few on ebay when I couldn't find what I needed elsewhere first. I've also sold some used xeons on ebay with good results.

I wouldn't if I were looking for brand new. I'd rather go NewEgg. For older stuff, $50 or less, I'd chance it. If the thing is DOA, the seller can have it back.

I did it once to get a faster P4 to mess around with. Don't know that I would bank on it for a used one if I was looking for something recent. If it was new and still sealed in the package I'd buy it if the seller has good feedback.
